Craft Publication Design

IMG_7261.jpeg

Project Brief: This publication explores the traditional craft of Kintsugi, examining its history, philosophy, and cultural significance. The project highlights how the practice transforms broken ceramics into restored pieces, emphasizing themes of imperfection, resilience, and value. Developed using Adobe InDesign, the publication combines research and visual storytelling to communicate both the historical context and the deeper meaning behind the craft.

Project 2
Mini Publication Design

Project Brief: For this project, I designed a mini publication within the maximum size limit of 10 × 10 cm. I created a compact book exploring Japanese etiquette for tourists, combining informative content with hand-drawn illustrations. Designed using Adobe InDesign, the publication balances functionality and creativity while presenting cultural guidance in an engaging and visually appealing format.

Project Brief: This project explores a speculative future in which governments impose extreme and unimaginable rules through advanced surveillance technology. I designed a digestive-tracking ring concept that monitors the body through wearable data collection. The product was developed as a 3D-printed prototype, accompanied by a promotional poster created in Adobe Illustrator. The project combines product design and visual communication to question privacy, control, and the future of personal freedom.
